Sorry for the silent treatment, i have been very busy, but im going to try and start my blog back up. Lately i have started teaching swim lessons at the local pool and also started swimming back up, next week is league finals. I will start taking more pictures with my phone to upload here so be on the look out.

Next week on wednesday i am travling to topeka for our HOSA conference. HOSA stands for health occupational students of america. We do competitions. One of the competitions im doing is a test on CPR and First aid, im pretty sure ill do well. Wish me luck!

Today i have a swim meet against Twin Rivers its a home meet so luckly no travling. This year im not really liking swimming as much but i think ill finish the season.

I have had two people come up to me at school and church and ask if i will do their senior pictures so hopefully i can get some money out of that which would be very nice!

Today doesnt look like a stormy one so all i have to do is rest up for tonite!

This evening my father and i went out storm chasing again! This time we tried for some lightning. On first attempt we decided it was too light and there wasnt enough lightning to take pictures of so we headed back in. after we got home i noticed that there was a perfect view of some lightning bolts out our back yard so i started shooting and this is what i got! :D

And after a little photoshoping which only took about five minutes i got this! I'm very proud of my first lightning picture i hope i get some more soon :D

P.S. Swimming agains Twin Rivers tomorow wish me luck !

Well Bluegrass is around the corner, but unfortunately this last weekend we had Immense flooding at the Fairgrounds. Yes i do have pictures lots and lots of them so of course i will include them in the Post! the officials have decided that they will not let the campers return to the fairgrounds because of the washed out roads and MUD! Yes the music will go on at the fair grounds but campers are having to stay at the Lake,parks,Auction Building, Oxford, Ark city all those fun places :(. In case you didn't know that takes away about 3/4 of the Bluegrass Experience. So here are some Pics and you can see updates online at the Winfield Courier andNews cow.

Okay so today i was at school and over the PA system we get the call to evacuate to the nearby South Western College gym. Well last year when i was in middle school there was a bomb threat and that's where we went so everyone immediately knew what was happening. Someone called in a bomb threat at about 10:00 so at about 10:15 we all got in to the VERY VERY hot gym with over 1.000 kids. It was utter chaos. I snapped a few pics on my phone so here they are. The first is looking back in the direction of the high school there were a ton of kids. the others, the blurry ones, are inside the gym. You can see how crowded it was.

Well after about thirty minutes they let us know that parents had to come and sign you out to leave soo i called my mom and she came and got me. Later they searched the buildings and found nothing. So tomorrow we will have school but last year i think they called in twice so we might have to evac. tomorrow to. weeelllll

Hey not much is going on on my end... The world famous Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival is starting next month, I CANT WAIT. when i say world famous i mean WORLD famous. People come from all over like Australia, Europe, Asia, EVERYWHERE. Groups like Dixie Chicks started there careers there. Its CRAZY. But anyway the crazy thing is that Tommy Emmanuel wont be there this year :( that's Retarded. Soo i guess that's about it. O my toes is getting better but i still am going to have to get a PE note so i will just be able to walk, NO RUNNING OR JOGGING .

We are back from table rock lake and very very sore. We did a lot we went tubing,skiing,wakeboarding, and swimming. I got some video and a few pics. I have uploaded vids to youtube so i will give you each link.

First we have Avery trying to ski , she almost got up!

Then second we have me wake boarding and then falling pretty hard, it hurt.

Then our third video is of our little wormy, this is Avery crawling into the boat after some hard tubing. haha its hilarious.

i guess i should of informed you that we came in fourth. :( this year our team lost some of its best swimmers and we didnt have that many where it counted. So any way i have a new dis. pic that i contrasted out and brightened up also coppied my name in there. soooo.... oh on wednesday i will be going to my sister Ambers house to help my mom watch Hadley her one year old. Im not really sure where they are going but they will be gone for four days soo..... as you may know she does have a blog so i will be able to keep up on Blogging i think i might even take my camera just to kill some time. Gpsl League Finals!

Last night from 4pm to 11:30pm our swim team and 7 other teams competed in the Great Plains Swim League, League finals. I had 5 events the 200 meter Medley Relay, which is where you have four people on your team and have two on each side of the pool. The first swims down doing backstroke touches then the second goes doing breaststroke ,thats me, and touches then the third doing the butterfly then the fourth doing freestyle. (exhales) My second event was the 50 meter freestyle which is one length of the pool, i took off a second. Then my third was a Freestyle relay, again four people but you always swim freestyle. Then my fourth was 100 meter breaststroke which you do one lap doing only breaststroke. Then my final was a 200 IM which is individual medley, you swim a medley relay with one person. you can see an IM here. All of this took about seven and a half hours. I took of 7 seconds in my Breaststroke and won the heat. Also that time was my personal best so i got an Iron On for my GPSL shirt. Im SOOO SORE TODAY. so thats about it. Lateron!

Haha ya not much to talk about today. My Daddy took me to get some fire works :) I'm soooooo ready for the fourth. As you probably noticed my playlist is noticeably shorter, that is cause my other one messed up so if you have any favorites for me to add to mine or if you want me to get you a play list just ASK!!!!!! Ive been trying to find another layout and or blog header but I'm not having much luck..... i think ill just leave this one. On Tues in my swim meet i got first in everything except for the IM which i got second in...... not bad at all for me. Tahlikwa- Im BACK!!!!

I'm back from my canoe trip and I'm tired. we had a pretty loose schedule, we could go out and swim in the river or anything else really until we had our devotions. It was a 6 hour canoe trip down the Illinois river to Riverside Camp which is where we stayed. About half way through we stopped on a Gravel bar and ate lunch. we didn't have any specific time to be back so we went pretty slow. About three fourths of the way i switched into a canoe with two of my friends. With three people in a canoe turning isn't that easy so one of my friends and I bailed out and swam the rest of the river, which we thought wasn't that far but it ended up being about 1 and a half hours. So today I'm sore from hitting a tree jumping off cliffs and hitting rocks so i think i will go take a nap....... Lateron :)

Yeaterday we won our swim meet 400 some to 200 some so we are very happy. As compinsation our swim coach Dustin Durban is letting us play WATER POLO sometime in the near future. WE ARE EXCITED!! So ya i gtg to tennis so i will update when i get back. Lateron :)

Hello, i haven't updated my Blog in a while so i thought i would.........Ive been doing good. This summer I'm enrolled in the Winfield Swim Club (WIN) << that's cause we always do.. But ya I'm in swim club ad have been doing pretty good, our practice starts at 7:00 in the morning so i get up at about 6:30 and ride my bike across town to the pool. Wich isn't really that bad. anyway today I'm including a pic of My least favorite stroke the Butterfly, but it still looks kinda kool so ENJOY!!!!! Also this summer im doing tennis lessons which start at 11:00 which is in a bit so i should probably go get ready. I smell like chlorine. HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!! lateron.

Hmm what else........................................as i said i like photography the one below looks kinda kool ill try to put a pic with every post i do. Below was when i was taking one of those myspace original "in the mirror" pics, i shot the white balance up and made my eyes red so i looked evil. :) pretty kool, or atleased way kooler than your pic. Hey thought I would tell the blogging nation bout myself, My name, obviously, is Alex. I live in the great state of Kansas and attend WMS,bout to move to WHS,:).......N E way i use allot of text talk so don't expect to see the best grammar you've ever seen. Well back to me, I play Basket Ball, Tennis, and Swim in the summer i like to tinker with electronics. I also am a nature lover i love storms and beautifully placed rivers and photography. Also i LOVE MUSIC i will listen to anything and everything as you can see by my playlist. when i grow up i want to go into the Medical field, I'M IN LOVE WITH GORE, i like looking at crash videos and stuff on utube. I guess you could call me middle class at my school, not really loved not really hated, just right smack dab in the middle. uhhhhhhh lets see.........................I, like every other teen you know, have a myspace but if you know me and for some reason don't have that link jst comment me cause im not gonna post it, that would be unsafe (ur welcome mom). As you can see i have a pretty good since of humor and love making people laugh. Also i like riding my bike and Street Surfing(pic Below).
